Week 23 of Homeschool: We practiced drawing a map of the world, wrote a rough draft for an essay about “My Favorite Cartoons,” learned about the science of bridges and tried a bridge-building-challenge, learned all about the four types of ocean floor, delved into the mysterious world of ancient mound builders, wrote the key word outline for an imaginative five paragraph essay about the wonders of the ancient world, gave a presentation on our art classes and colored pencil drawing of a cat, worked on reading comprehension, learned about the coral habitat, worked on Latin, located ancient Mesoamerican civilizations on a map, learned how to find the area of a triangle, and had a blast (with glow sticks) with our Classical Conversations community!
