Week 4 of Homespun Homeschool: We practiced our colored pencil drawing skills, reviewed Latin vocab and grammar rules, researched and wrote an interview-style biography on the scientist Copernicus, finished reading Little Britches, learned some parts of the nervous system, wrote a persuasive essay on The Phantom Tollbooth, read about Molly Pitcher and Eli Whitney, added more states to our geography of the U.S., wrote a paper about the Boston Massacre, researched and discussed whether women should serve in combat in the military, practiced spelling, defined types of statements and looked at various types of disagreements, worked on music thory, learned about the Declaration of Independence, worked on Algebra and got our pottery back, fired and finished!
