Week 11 of Homespun Homeschool: We learned about the endocrine system, worked on drawing a map of the United States, read about Thomas Edison and Theodore Roosevelt, learned Latin rules, researched the scientist Maria Mitchell, worked on spelling, diagrammed sentences, created a demonstration of stars, worked on Algebra, learned about the Civil War, played a Thanksgiving version of National Number Knockout, learned new Logic concepts, wrote an ANI chart for The Hiding Place, worked on music theory, went bowling with friends, made homemade sugar cookies, soap and pottery to sell at our CC Market and took a field trip to the Roper Science Museum!
