Week 12 of Homespun Homeschool: We started learning John 1 in Latin, worked on Algebra, learned some purposes of blood, read about Henry Ford and George Washington Carver, assembled the parts of the human body, wrote a paper about Edwin Hubble, worked on spelling, researched the scientist Henrietta Swan Leavitt, diagrammed sentences, worked more on our demonstration of stars, learned new Latin grammar, wrote a paper about The Hiding Place, learned new Logic concepts, read Tanglewood Tales and wrote a paper, learned about General Robert E. Lee, researched Stephen Hawking and wrote a paper on black holes, memorized and performed one of Ronald Reagan’s speeches, ate a solar system cake, created shoebox presentations on 2 scientists, attended a Lego Brick Fest, saw the Nutcracker Ballet with a live orchestra, visited the Biltmore Estate and went to end-of-the-year Classical Conversations Christmas parties!
