Week 12 of Homespun Homeschool: We studied Latin, finished writing an essay on Billy Budd, learned about the Muslim Empire, started reading The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, continued studying Latin 5th Declension noun endings, looked at examples of antithesis, discussed teaspoon to tablespoon to ounce conversions, learned about the three Branches of the U.S. government, learned about plant systems, worked on algebra, researched a history topic and prepared a presentation, looked at the geography of the Muslim Empire, made final preparations with our debate team, practiced public speaking, and went to see mom perform at Victoria Valley Vineyards!
