Week 7 of Homespun Homeschool: We continued working on drawing parts of a face, read Dred Scott v. Sanford, learned how to live without electricity for 11 days (thanks to Hurricane Helene), read The Method of Grace, diagrammed sentences, read On the Slavery Question, wrote a paper about the Epic of Gilgamesh, read Liberty for All, gave a presentation on the Otamatone, studied Latin, worked on algebra, read Essays to Do Good, worked on essay for The Scarlet Letter, read A Model of Christian Charity, summarized The Missouri Compromise, memorized the U.S.presidents, researched the negative position for Debate, including Solutions and Advantages, and went to Charleston, where we visited Fort Sumter, Magnolia Gardens and the Angel Oak tree!
