Week 17 of Homespun Homeschool: We learned about three kinds of rock, continued reading the Taming of the Shrew, learned the linear equivalents, researched Shakespeare’s idioms and phrases, continued studying Latin noun cases, started a writing paper on To Kill a Mockingbird, located each continent’s highest mountain, started a bibliography for our research paper, learned the physics of bridge-building, learned some helping verbs, began reading Born Again, learned about Prince Henry of Portugal, started writing a paper about Seven Super Stones, read about physics and energy, learned the geography of the Middle East, read in a Bluestocking Economics Guide, did Saxon math lessons, worked on Henle Latin, chose Robert Frost poems to memorize and recite for class, researched the electoral college issue for debate, started working on a cost of living project, had a practice meal for the protocol event, had dad visit us at CC, and had a snow day!
