Week 7 of Homespun Homeschool: We continued reading the epic sonnets, started reading Robinson Crusoe, worked on Algebra, prepared slides for science lab and compared animal and plant cells, looked at Latin’s fifth declension and passive versus active moods, read about Bach and listened to his music, completed the Art Grant application, started reading about cells and membranes, learned new literary terms, wrote a paper and drew a sketch on the subject of birds, learned about Similes, finished reading The Magician’s Nephew, wrote a paper about the artist Michelangelo, learned about conditional syllogisms, worked on Math Maps, memorized and drew from memory a map of Central America and the Caribbean, learned new geography, terms, wrote an essay on Carry On, Mr. Bowditch, and had a speaker come to class to share the culture of Puerto Rico with our class!
