Homespun Homeschool Week #8

Week 8 of Homespun Homeschool: We finished reading Robinson Crusoe, memorized and drew from memory a map of South America, studied Latin subjunctive purpose clauses and practiced declining fourth and fifth Latin declensions, continued reading about cells and membranes, wrote a paper and drew a sketch on the subject of amphibians, started a lab on osmosis in animal cells, performed an experiment on plasmolysis in plant cells, added to our arts timeline, continued working on the Art Grant, started writing a paper on The Magician’s Nephew, read in State of the Arts, learned about conjunctive and disjunctive syllogisms, worked on Math Maps, began reading Number the Stars, worked on Algebra, learned about Synecdoche by Species, continued reading epic sonnets, learned new geography terms, and brought hand drawn maps to community!
