Week 9 of Homespun Homeschool: We wrote a paper and drew a sketch on the subject of reptiles, finished preparing for our Art Grant presentation, continued reading Number the Stars, looked at Latin dative verbs and adjectives, started reading about cellular energy and respiration, memorized and drew from memory a map of South America, started reading and writing a paper on A Modest Proposal from Gulliver’s Travels, learned new literary terms, worked on Algebra, continued writing a paper on The Magician’s Nephew, compared conjunctive and subjunctive syllogisms, worked on Math Maps, learned about Synecdoche by Part, continued reading the epic sonnets, learned new geography terms, brought hand drawn maps to community, and sighted a bear in our own backyard!
