Week 11 of Homespun Homeschool: We started reading about DNA proteins and the cell cycle, started Science Fair research, compared Latin adjectives and looked at adjectives of the third declension, planted and observed our radish seed experiment, learned about Idioms, began reading, Amos Fortune, Free Man, created Goclenian and conditional sorites, started writing a paper about Number the Stars, read about and listened to Mozart, worked on Algebra, presented Logic in class, started reading Pride and Prejudice, worked on Math Maps, memorized and drew from memory a map of Europe, learned new literary terms, read in How Should We Then Live, brought hand drawn maps to community, started working on our persuasive speech assignment, learned new geography terms, learned about Durer and Rembrandt, made beignets Cafe Du Monde style, and won a party for class by filling up the duckie jar!
