Week 13 of Homespun Homeschool: We finished reading Amos Fortune, Free Man, created dilemmas in logic, started reading Jane Eyre, finished writing a paper about Number the Stars, studied the Latin first conjugation and irregular adjectives, continued research and work on our Science Fair project, started reading about genetics and inheritance patterns, learned about Parables, memorized and drew from memory a map of Europe, looked at ways to graph experiments, learned new literary terms, read in How Should We Then Live, learned new geography terms, studied and wrote a paper about Rembrandt, worked on our persuasive speech assignment, worked on Math Maps and Algebra, brought hand drawn maps to community, carved pumpkins (California to South Carolina!), and watched the full 6 hour version of Pride and Prejudice with class!
