Week 14 of Homespun Homeschool: We continued reading about genetics and inheritance patterns, started writing a paper on Amos Fortune, Free Man, performed an experiment on making your own pedigree, continued working on our persuasive speech assignment, learned about Proverbs, began reading The Secret Garden, performed an experiment and wrote a lab report on environmental factors and their effect on radish leaf color, learned about blood types, studied Latin conjugations and irregular verbs, created oblique syllogisms, memorized and drew from memory a map of Europe, learned new literary terms, worked on Algebra and Math Maps, learned new geography terms, and played group games in class!
