Week 5 of Homespun Homeschool: We examined our bug collection, painted a landscape with acrylic paint, started the ANI Chart for Carry On, Mr. Bowditch, finished drawing the United States from memory, worked on the Quid et Quo chart, gave a presentation on Lego, worked on spelling, wrote a research paper on sea stars, taught math and Latin to our Classical Conversations community, learned about cycles in nature, worked on improper fractions and mixed numbers, examined raw fish for next week’s research paper, studied objective pronouns, wrote a paper about Pope Gregory and Augustine, learned about implied “you” in sentence diagramming, and caught a praying mantis and took a closer look!
