Week 3 of Homespun Homeschool: We learned about 3 kinds of muscle, finished writing an ANI chart for The Phantom Tollbooth, located five more U.S. states and capitals on the map, started reading Little Britches, learned about the Boston Tea Party, wrote a paper about a Treacherous Journey, read about Paul Revere and Patrick Henry, worked on spelling, researched, wrote and presented a biography on the scientist Ptolemy, practiced writing musical notation, created a model of the geocentric theory of the solar system, diagrammed sentences, researched and discussed the right of U.S. citizens to protest, learned how to define ambiguous words, reviewed Latin vocab and grammar rules, looked at types of statements and true or false statements by structure and definition, worked on Algebra, presented original artwork to our class, and went to Greenville’s once-a-year Big Book Sale!
