Week 10 of Homespun Homeschool: We played pumpkin carving number knockout, wrote a fictional story based on a series of pictures and read it in class, worked on Algebra, learned new Latin vocabulary and grammar, worked on spelling, researched William and Caroline Herschel and wrote an essay, skip-counted the squares, learned new Logic concepts, wrote an essay about Where the Red Fern Grows, learned some parts of the respiratory system, continued reading The Hiding Place, learned about Manifest Destiny, read about Clara Barton and Stonewall Jackson, located states on a map of the U.S., carved pumpkins and went to the Greenville Zoo!
