Homespun Homeschool Week #23

Week 23 of Homespun Homeschool: We located Canadian Waters, made an electromagnet and wrote a corresponding lab, learned about the exploration of Canada, studied the physics of electricity and magnetism, looked at the helping and linking verb “to be,” did Saxon math lessons, learned the five circles of latitude, continued reading the Taming of the Shrew and read through scenes with class, started writing a comparison essay on Booker T. Washington versus Frederick Douglass, studied Latin 4th declension noun endings, finished reading Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, learned the associative law for addition and multiplication, worked on Henle Latin, researched evidence for the status quo, continued working on the cost of living and stock market venture projects, read in a Bluestocking Economics Guide, continued memorizing Robert Frost poems, read in Penny Candy, got class pictures taken and went biking at Furman with friends!
