Week 25 of Homespun Homeschool: We learned the countries of South America East, read about earth’s structure, minerals and more, learned about the liberation of South America, continued acting out Taming of the Shrew in class and working on our Shakespeare project, did lab experiments, looked at more linking verbs, finished writing a comparison essay on Booker T. Washington and Frederick Douglass, learned about some types of clouds, studied Latin 5th declension noun endings, read The Old Man and the Sea, learned the distributive law, worked on our research paper, did Saxon math lessons, continued working on the cost of living and stock market venture projects, worked on Henle Latin, continued memorizing Robert Frost poems, read in a Bluestocking Economics Guide, continued gathering evidence for debate, read in Money Mystery, drew pictures of Milo, took more class pictures and played baseball!
