Homespun Homeschool Week #3

Week 3 of Homespun Homeschool: We looked at the Latin Indicative Active, predicates and subject nouns, worked on The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe paper, read about carbon compounds, wrote a paper and drew a sketch on the subject of geology, performed an experiment on the properties of water, started reading The Canterbury Tales, learned about rhyme, began a timeline starting in the Renaissance, started a bean sprout experiment, read in Carry on, Mr. Bowditch, researched the life of Van Eyck, started writing a paper on Beowulf and Sir Gawain, worked on Algebra and brought a problem to share with the class, memorized and drew a map of Canada from memory, read in State of the Arts, started preparing for a debate on whether admission to museums should be free, created and reduced syllogisms, wrote a paper on Berlinghiero, continued reading the epic sonnets, and had a speaker share the culture and food of Canada with us!
