Week 22 of Homespun Homeschool: We started reading The Hobbit and writing a paper about it, drew and labeled the heart, researched Cole and wrote an essay comparing him to Thomas Kinkade, worked on Algebra, read in The Fallacy Detective, performed an experiment on roots, stems and leaves, memorized a map of Africa and learned geography terms, read about and listened to Dvorak, drew the Digestive System from memory, continued reading Meno, finished reading A Gathering of Days, worked on Latin, learned Literary and Rhetorical devices, read about plant structure and function, continued to discuss the question “What is virtue?,” discussed Homer, continued preparing for the Lincoln-Douglas Debates, and went to Tandem for school!
