Week 23 of Homespun Homeschool: We began reading Crispin: The Cross of Lead, researched Homer, read in The Fallacy Detective, performed an experiment on PH & leaf color, continued working on memorizing a map of Africa and learned geography terms, finished reading The Hobbit and wrote a paper on it, worked on Algebra, continued reading Meno, drew and labeled skin, attended a workshop in preparation for the Lincoln-Douglas Debates, drew the heart from memory, added to our timeline, worked on Latin, started writing a paper on A Gathering of Days, learned Literary and Rhetorical devices, continued reading about plant structure and function, led a discussion on The Hobbit in class, and attended Protocol and the Opera!
