Week 6 of Homespun Homeschool: We discussed the concept of comparison using the Math Map, gave a presentation on our art portfolio, aced a math test, read a research paper on the Portugese Man of War fish, learned the possessive pronouns, started drawing Central America from memory, performed an experiment on the expanding nature of the universe, worked on colored pencil technique, learned new Latin vocabulary and practiced reading and writing in Latin, worked on spelling, went on a church camping retreat, and stepped back in time at the renaissaince fair, where we saw a parrot show and a jousting match!
