Week 19 of Homespun Homeschool: We read and outlined chapter 6 of Defeating Darwinism, read a short story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, notated bass clef notes, learned the difference between an acid and a base, created direct and cross-examination questions for Mock Trial, defined the characters of our short story, worked on Algebra, learned new Logic concepts, read The Red-Headed League, summarized our Faces of History paper and memorized it, learned about Nato, diagrammed sentences, learned the area of a circle, learned Latin 2nd declension neuter nouns, continued translating John 1 into Latin, looked at sentence clauses, found US trails on a map, visited a high school mock trial at the Greenville County Courthouse, and performed as John Andre in our Classical Conversations Faces of History event!
