Great second week of school! We made a Celtic double-sided ax, wrote a story about a parachuter, grew shoots and roots from dried beans, simulated the rings of Saturn, created art from complimentary colors and our chrysalis hatched into a beautiful fritillary butterfly!
Crazy, awesome week of school! We ate like ancient Romans, kept a tally sheet at a Major League Baseball game, captured a caterpillar that spun into a chrysalis, made a Roman signum, started an ant farm, made color wheels, read George MacDonald, soared over Europe on a magic carpet, listened to classical music, danced, sang – and then collapsed, from the sheer joy of LEARNING!
